New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the new-generation 2026 Toyota Hilux in India with a starting price of ₹31.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated lifestyle pickup truck arrives with a refreshed design, upgraded cabin features, a new 4×2 automatic variant, and improved technology.
The latest Hilux continues to be based on Toyota’s proven IMV ladder-frame platform and is available only in a Double Cab body style for the Indian market. The pickup is offered in three variants — GX 4×2 AT, GX 4×4 AT, and VX 4×4 AT.
Toyota Hilux 2026 Price and Variants
The 2026 Toyota Hilux price starts at ₹31.99 lakh and goes up to ₹36.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The variant-wise prices are:
- Hilux GX 4×2 AT: ₹31.99 lakh
- Hilux GX 4×4 AT: ₹33.69 lakh
- Hilux VX 4×4 AT: ₹36.69 lakh
Bookings for the new Hilux have started through Toyota dealerships and online channels, while customer deliveries are expected to begin from the second week of August.
Updated Exterior Design
The new Hilux gets a more aggressive and modern appearance while maintaining its rugged pickup character. It features a redesigned front fascia with a larger honeycomb grille, slimmer LED headlamps, a new bumper design, and stronger body lines.
At the rear, Toyota has updated the tailgate design and introduced new LED tail lamps with a distinctive look. The pickup also gets redesigned alloy wheels and refreshed styling elements to enhance its road presence.
Premium Interior and New Technology
The biggest changes are inside the cabin. The 2026 Hilux comes with a redesigned dashboard featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Buyers can choose between rear-wheel-drive (4×2) and four-wheel-drive (4×4) configurations. The 4×4 versions are designed for off-road enthusiasts with features such as terrain modes and electronic differential lock.
